To kick off the 2017-2018 season on Friday, Oct. 13, the St. Augustine Orchestra (SAO) will feature seven American composers whose rich sound is proof that classical music also has strong roots in the United States – and that composers can be highly interesting, too.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Concert is at 8 p.m. at Anastasia Island Baptist Church, 1650 A1A South, Saint Augustine. Tickets, at $20, adults; $5, students with ID; free, children 12 and younger, are available at the door.
