St. Augustine’s Sing Out Loud Music Festival returns for its second year, bringing together musical acts for free concerts over three weekends in September. National and local musical artists, singers and songwriters will be performing the weekends of Sept. 8, 9 and 10, Sept.15, 16 and 17 and Sept.22, 23 and 24, at more than a dozen venues in downtown St. Augustine and St. Augustine Beach.
The event is sponsored by Community First Credit Union and curated by St. Johns County Cultural Events Division.
Headliner acts for 2017 include Steve Earle, Lake Street Dive, Wolf Parade, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Los Lobos, Lucero, Deer Tick, The Infamous Stringdusters, Justin Townes Earle, Langhorne Slim, John Moreland, Amanda Shires, Lydia Loveless, Matthew Logan Vasquez, Dave Simonett, Joe Pug, Blackfoot Gypsies, Mariee Sioux, Wax Wings, Shelley Short, This Frontier Needs Heroes, and Darren Hanlon. Local and regional musicians include The Young Step and Shea Birney.
