The Black Raven Pirate Ship presents Christmas Treasure Hunt 2017, an exciting afternoon tour for the season designed to appeal to kids of all ages, on Saturdays and Sundays starting Nov. 24.
When Captain Hook plunders Santa’s sack of toys, it’s up to the good pirate crew of the Black Raven to recover them, thus saving Christmas (and Santa’s reputation). The action begins right at the docks of St. Augustine Municipal Marina, 111 Avenida Menendez, St. Augustine, when the new crewmembers (guests on the tour) receive a crash course in sword-fighting to prepare them for the sea battle to come.
When the Queen Anne’s Revenge is spotted out on the bay, the battle is joined. Cannons firing, ships broad-siding, and pirate camaraderie all combine to make this a Christmas event the whole family will enjoy.
Admission is $34.95 for adults; $24.95 for ages 3 to 12. Tours are available at 2:15 p.m., starting on Black Friday, Nov. 24, and will be available on Saturdays and Sundays through Dec. 24. Guests are asked to arrive at least a half-hour before departure time to have time to find parking. Call (904) 826-0000.
