History buffs discuss Civil War at library

Understanding the Civil War is the topic of a  lecture on Oct. 3, 1 to 3 p.m., at the Anastasia Island Library, 124 Sea Grove Main St., St. Augustine. There is no charge for participation. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Join a group of longtime Civil War buffs to discuss the complex aspects of the war that separated brothers and put the American government to its ultimate test. The event is part of the library’s   occasional lectures by guest speakers.
